The reed work perfectly the first time. Use it all the time now. Once I got the correct strngth.

I was very hesitant to play synthetic reeds. However the excellent projection, consistent sound is worth it! I I usually play on 3.5/4 vandoren and I baught the 3 Légère at first but the reed sounded dull. I purchased the 2.5 and it was an amazing difference. I had to adjust my tone bending and vibrato technique but it was very minor adjustments. I highly recommend having a synthetic in your reed collection.

I play in several community wind bands and my conductors are always telling the sax section to play softer. :^) My Signature bari reed (2.00) on my S90 Selmer mouthpiece allows me to easily roll out the low notes with precision. Very responsive and consistent. It also punches out high notes in my jazz big band with my Jody Jazz mouthpiece.

Very great reeds, durable and loud, very vocal, and great range! (Just don't ever press down on the reed in the gap between the mouthpiece and reed it will break...)
