Clarinet Reeds

This is my third Legere Oboe Reed and just as expect, the performance is outstanding. The Reed has a really good response and a nice tone to it. Would highly recommend this product.

This synthetic reed is one of the best, it allows a bright and stable sound on my tenor saxophone. I am very happy to have bought this accessory

I’ve been using this reed for about 2 weeks and it I amazing. It has a beautiful sound and is also very responsive and bright. The low notes play easy and are very clear, and the high notes are also very crisp and bright. However I would suggest going up in strength a tiny bit from what you would usually play on a cane reed.

The reeds are great, save me a ton of set-up time and they play the same every day. I am still figuring out which Tenor Reed is best for me and I need to upgrade my Tenor mouthpiece as I did with Alto. I expect to be 100% Legere soon.

I have been using the Legere reeds for years, and it has never disappointed me on SATB. The signature sopranino not only saves my day but also responds exactly to what I am asking for. If you are a soprillo player as well, this reed is definitely one of the top choices available to you.

French 3.75:
Once you get used to them they are great. Eveness of tone throughout all registers is apparent immediately. If you play more, you will have to replace them more often. But after changing out a replacement reed you'll find the consistency is amazing.

My advise is to not make rash judgements. It takes time to adjust to playing on the Legere reeds. I would also advise going with a softer reed on first try. Once the adjustments are made I found the French cut especially suited for my classical Alto setup. I can not imagine wanting to go back to cane reeds. I can get good results on cane reeds but it is a lot of effort that could be better spent on making music.

As good as usual !

First the reed seemed to be very different than plastic coated but when playing a bit more and kind of driving it in feeling more comfortable with it. Nice warm sound.

What a great reed for soprano sax. Responsive, full bodied sound that works for jazz and contemporary music styles. What is really great is that it plays exactly the same every time, a reed you can count on for live and studio work.
