Alto Saxophone Signature - Légère Reeds

Alto Saxophone Signature

Regular price $33.22 Sale

A bright and stable reed colored with a full spectrum of overtones. The reed is very responsive and articulate due to its relative thinness versus the Classic. The Signature for Saxophone is the recommended cut for players in solo, classical, or jazz studio settings.

Excellent reed

The sound quality is great! The response is great especially for begginers because then they don't get so discouraged when trying out their instrument for the first time.

Amazing Reeds!

They are easy to play and consistent. They respond much better than cane reeds in lower register. In terms of volume and resonance, I do think cane reeds generate a bigger and more resonant sound with solid core. It might be more challenging to cut through if you are performing as a soloist in front of full orchestra or band.

Absolutely amazing!!!

I have got to say that the difference between the signature legere and the American cut is so drastic that it is unbelievable. The American cut hurts my lip and I can't play with it for very long at all. Luckily I ordered a signature as well and oh my gosh, I might never go back to cane reeds again! This reed makes me want to practice and not stop! I can play on it for hours at a time and my lip never hurts. It has a bright sound too it but you can also play nice and quiet for a smoother blues sound! It is amazing to say the least! I am a person who speaks the truth (if you don't believe me then read the review I left on the American cut one) All I know is that I am astounded. It plays consistently and always sounds amazing right as you start. Its not like a cane reed that you have to play a little bit to get it sounding nice. Never again will I have to fight my reeds or find 5 bad ones in a box. I can say that I will ALWAYS have a legere signature in my case! I hope you decide to try it out, if you do I guarantee you will feel the same!

Not so delicate

After playing with the more common reed, it felt so much better, easier and less cumbersome. Definitely would recommend this product

George Brant (San Jose, US)

It was my first non cane reed and it worked perfectly no complaints
