The most comfortable, stable, and articulate clarinet reed Légère produces. The European Cut for Bb Clarinet is wider than the Signature with a shorter vamp and a band of material down the spine. This reed is recommended for players of all levels though it is too wide for most German mouthpieces.

Synthetic My Preferred Option

I so love the Legere synthetic reeds. I'm enjoying the European cut though am just testing out the French cut. I love that you don't have to moist it first like traditional reeds and they synthetics last so much longer than traditional reeds.

Amazing products!

I absolutely love performing on my Legere European Cut clarinet reeds for both Bb and Eb. I live and perform in Colorado where the dryness and elevation can wreak havoc on traditional cane reeds and the consistency and performance of the Legere brand solves all my cane headaches. I love when my clarinet friends tell me I sound amazing and “what’s my setup” and I show them I’ve “gone synthetic” and they are shocked and curious at the same time. Highly recommend everyone give these a try!

Best synthetic option yet

I've been experimenting with various cuts of synthetic and cane options for a long time and the Euro Cut on clarinet is something that I've settled on full time. Its ease of response, brightness, and clarity of sound is something that is very desirable for me while maintaining a consistency over time. I've been playing the same reed on my current theatre contract for months now and the best part is not having to fuss about a clarinet reed that sounds and plays great every time even as the seasons change.

I CAME BACK!

I played Legere reeds for some time and returned to cane. After experiencing the usual inconsistency, I came back to the predictability of Legere

Glad to hear you're enjoying the reed!

Can't Live Without Légère Reeds

I recently played in a pit orchestra for a show entitled FIRST DATE. I pegged 5 instruments (2 clarinets, 3 saxes) - each sporting Légère reeds. The soprano sax was only utilized once in the show, yet the response of the reed was superb (same for the other instruments). As previously mentioned, I truly can't live without Légère reeds!
