Excellent reed! I have been using this reed for over two years on my Backun clarinet with the Hawkes&Backun mouthpiece
This 2.75 reed was "the one" I had been trying to get since ~3 years ago when I ordered the same "type" of reed, but it was very stiff--maybe a 4? I was unable to exchange it due to the Covid pandemic (I tried to soften it by immersing it in hot water, but that so-of worked but no optimal). Now, if you could convince the US postal service to get their act together for speedy delivery....
I have been using the Legere European cut reeds for my Bb and Eb clarinets. They work great, especially while performing, as they don’t dry out like a can reed would.
Haven't used it yet. using an old one still.
I love legere reeds. You can switch horns and not worry about your reed drying out on the resting instrument.
Thanks for the review!
