These reeds are perfect with my Vandoren B45 lire mouthpiece and Vandoren signature ligature for a fabulous open sound with fast response for Jazz improv on my Backun Protege.

Oddly enough I use this reed on soprano saxophone and it works so well for what I need. The response is super quick and consistent that I have absolutely 0 worries about reeds. It’s stable and tone quality is what I’m looking for.
