The reeds are working great as usual right out of the box for notes top to bottom.

I used to split bamboo reeds because I play aggressively on gigs. These are way more durable (still split them after 100 hours but better than 3 hours) and even if I do, I can still get through a gig. If it's a long gig, I will alternate them out like you should running shoes.

This is a consistently reliable reed. It does what I need!

The Legere American Cut is the most responsive and reliable reed I have found. I have tried many different reeds and this one really works great for me. I’m currently playing jazz/ blues and rock and It responds great, as expected through out the range of my saxophone every time. It takes that worry away.
