As an intermediate student, this past year has been a great enhancement and well-lasted reed since Band Camp. My Signature reed is on its last days, but it has lasted me quite the time with an astonishing projection in sound. I’m speechless to describe the improvement in tonality it has helped me achieve along with the American Cut. That is also very extraordinary in its sound for dynamics and articulations for astonishing solos and swinging groove! I can’t wait to buy another reed along with the French Cut!
Having the a choice of multiple strength levels is great for beginners to intermediate levels. No more sanding😊. Not having to wet the reed before playing makes it easier to practice or to just grab and play.

I am a middle aged recreational saxophone player. I practice one or two times a week and play with an 18 piece big band a couple time a month as well. I live in an extremely dry climate and have struggled to keep reeds performing well. Legere has solved my problems. The reed performs well no matter the weather, or how long a gig is. It is consistent and allows me to focus on my playing rather than my setup. Five stars for Legere.
Glad you're enjoying your reed!
I was looking for a reed with more resistance without being stuffy. I purchased the Signature Series reed at a 3.5 strength to pair with my Selmer C**. It was the perfect reed. More resistance without being stuffy. The response was awesome. I highly recommend this reed!

I've only been playing alto for about 18 months, but I was struggling with cane reeds that were either too stiff or inconsistent. A fellow player recommended your reeds. The Signature 2.0 made all the difference. I can focus more on my tone and playing and not fight with just getting a sound from the reed. It was truly 'plug and play.' I'm a convert!
Thanks for the thoughtful and detailed review!
