great
Currently playing in my second concert with this reed and am now convinced this reed is a keeper! A bit stiffer than I was expecting (I normally play a 3 strength cane reed and the 3 strength Legere is what I am playing now). Love the stability and timbre of this reed.
I just finished playing a show with this reed, first time purchasing one for bass clarinet, and I am very happy. I appreciate not worrying about them drying out or warping during long periods of rest. Ready to go right out of the instrument stand!
First time in 50 years with a reed return... and handled in a few hours!
Really like the synthetics on larger winds, and with the myriad of offerings from Legere, they are the obvious choice in outfitting my new Buffet Low 'C' Prestige Bass. Legere quality and performance are commensurate with the Clark Fobes mp. You can research the specs on reeds & mp's 'till your eyes pop, but until you blow on that horn..... Thank you, Legere, for making this process so easy. Bravo! Will probably go with the BC European Cut, 2.5
We're so thankful for your positive review and are glad you had a great experience!
I am a long time legere user but tonight was the first time I had used a signature cut Reed since I normally play contra clarinets and bass sax and legere only makes classic cut for those horns. The signature bass clarinet Reed played evenly from the top to the bottom notes with a resonate, classic bass clarinet sound. Make thses for my other horns please!

With my B45 mouthpiece, the tone quality is indistinguishable from my cane reeds. From past experience, I expect it to last several months. But I wish retailers (for all sorts of merchandise) would not request these reviews prior to the advertised lifetime of products!
Thank you for the comments, we appreciate your feedback.
