This is now my favourite, easy play across the range and matches my Jody Jazz Dark “7” for nice balanced sound on my Mark IV. Ordered this second copy as a backup and it is every bit as nice.

I purchased a French Cut 3.5 and feel this reed is a super good one for classical music. Right now, I don't need to go back to traditional cane reed anymore.
Glad to hear you're enjoying the reed!
Good reed
Thanks for the kind review!
I started using Legere reeds on tenor a few months ago. I really liked them and got compliments on the sound. But I did get a few surprising comments, such as: “I played on a “plastic reed” a few years ago and didn’t like it, so I’m sticking to cane.” I’m still trying to convince some of these guys to try one of my Legere reeds.

Have been a long time Legere customer for my alto and tenor saxes, I have used Classic, Studio, American and now French Cut. I find them immediately usable and durable and they give me ease of articulation throughout the range of the instrument.
