Classic Sax

I am a convinced professional user of Légère reeds for over ten years and it won’t change!

My saxophone have low projection, been struggling for years to pierce through the band sound. These reeds gave me an extra tool to enjoy playing with a loud band.

I use American 2.5 on my Link 6* on Tenor.
I don't have to look for or work on reeds anymore--amazingly freeing. I can use my time to prepare and improve. I wish these existed at this quality years ago. (With each cane reed, you are adjusting slightly -even unconsciously...not so with these.)

I'm very happy with my Signature Reed. I play a Meyer 6M in small ensembles and the signature has the responsiveness and projection I like.

I received my Lergere reed just a couple days before a jazz gig. I tired it out ahead of time as I wasn't sure if I had ordered the right strength (2.25). It turned out that it was the right strength for me to use on my Berg-Larson 105/2, The sharp edges were a bit uncomfortable on that narrow mouthpiece so I slightly sanded the edges. The gig went well. It was nice not to have to soak it when I needed it.

Used my primary Legere Signature during first half of rehearsal and switched to this back up reed half way through. Worked great. Used the primary reed for the concert though. No issues with either. Just trying to extend the life of the reeds.

I have purchased several Legére reeds. Always produces a great sound!

Before I made my purchase I read the reviews from other Sax players. The reviews were very impressive so I ordered my reed. I've only played on Bamboo reeds so I didn't know what to expect. The sound that came out of my Tenor was wonderful. It never played so well. I immediately ordered one more of a different strength and 2 more for my Alto.

One of the mouthpieces I use is a Jody Jazz #5 alto and I have paired it up with a #2 Signature cut Legere reed…..SMOOTH!

EXCELLENT PRODUCT

I have been playing on a classic cut Legere reed for about a year and I decided to get an American cut reed because I had heard great things about them and my band director also recommended this cut.
It played amazing strait out of the box, extremely responsive and is the only reed that I have played (out of a LOT of reeds) that lets me take full advantage of my E. Rousseau classical mouthpiece.

Let's just say this is my favorite reed ever! I love the idea of synthetic reeds but this one takes it and makes it a true reality. I recommend 100%!!

I'm very happy with my legere tenor reeds. I have american and signature. They are both very consistent and responsive. I like how warm the Signature is.

Your reeds are the best, my granddaughter uses them in her high school band and gets months of playing time. Thank you for a great product!
