2nd time purchase, good sound, great flexibility, intonation spot on
Great value for money, fast delivery
Super easy on the big bottom and plays super well in the middle and 2nd octave... altissimo above D is easy too. It's my new favorite on Bari sax. Loud and melodic is wonderful www.goldenwoodwinds.com
I barely have to use air to get a good, loud, rich sound to come out! Certainly helped in my band auditions! I got in, thanks!
I absolutely love how this reed responds! I’m new to these types of reeds and I’m very impressed. I recently developed a sensitivity to wood reeds so this was my last resort. I’m a retired Army clarinet player and thought my days of playing were over. I now can continue to play for years to come. I can’t recommend these reeds enough. I really love the bright sound they produce. Thank you!
I have used a #2 Legere Signature reed for three months, and it plays now as good as the first day I put it on. I just bought the same as a backup. The alto sig. and clarinet euro cut work equally well. Forget wooden reeds. who needs the hassle!
Have used the clarinet reeds for a few years now and have been extremely pleased with the sound, playability, and longevity of them. So, I decided to try the American Cut Alto Sax reed and the Signature Alto Sax reed. After giving both a try, I must say that I really prefer the American Cut over the Signature. Both are good reeds, but the American Cut sounds much clearer and responds much quicker and more reliably. So far I haven’t gone wrong with any Legere reed purchases.
Bb Soprano Clarinet European Cut
Very Consistent, works right away, no fiddling with cane reeds needed.
Really love these reeds especially for doublers! I’m mostly a jazz saxophonist but when I play classical, these are my go to reeds!!
I realize that some folks who like Legere reeds have tried everything under the sun. I have not... but I've tried a variety of basic brands (Vandoren and Rico) over the years including all their styles and variations for jazz. Legere classic was where I landed 20 years ago and I finally made the switch to Signature recently and it is excellent.
These reeds are perfect for performance!! 100% recommended!!!
Soprano Saxophone Signature
Believe the hype. We want consistency with our reeds. These have them. Recently switched from classic to signature, playing mostly big band and sax quartet settings. These are everything I'd want in a go-to accessory. If you're a long time using considering switching to this style, do it. If you've never played on Legere reeds, do it. If you're wondering if you should switch to another brand, don't do it lol.
This reed is great. I really recommend switching from wooden to Synthetic as it had multiple benefits. it is very very important that you check out the stiffness and strength of the reed before you buy
Absolute game changer, highly recommend!
