Right out of the box it was the easiest blowing reed I've ever played from highest to the lowest notes. I had been having trouble with the lower notes. Problem solved!
It's a lot easier on my 87 year old lungs too.

The French cut is a wonderful reed. I am a 71 year old gentleman who has been playing tenor sax for 10 years. I play in a concert band and consider myself to be an intermediate player. My setup is Yamaha 62 with a Selmar C* 80 mouthpiece. I have been playing Legere for 9 years and always loved them. I play a #3.0 and recently switched from the American cut to French. Thank you Legere.

I was surprised how easy the tenor French Cut reed plays. Bought one for Alto - the same impression.
Glad to hear you're enjoying the reed!
I really enjoyed playing on the reeds. Long time since I tried plastic reed, never thought I would again.
Glad I did!

I have been using Legere American Cut reeds on alto sax for a few years and enjoying them (consistency and convenience). When the new French Cut ones came out I was eager to give them a try. I have found them to be an even better fit for me in concert band and jazz. I love them on my alto and also on my tenor sax.
