Introducing the French Cut, by Légère. A refined, symphonic reed that gives players a richness and stability in tone, without any sacrifice to response. With a profile that has been completely reimagined, the French Cut has been designed for a dark, centered tone that allows for a deep range of emotional expression. The reed is responsive but even, with the perfect amount of resistance.

Great! Beautiful sound!

Works very well with both Jazz pieces and Symphonic, gives a nice warm tone even when I'm playing bright-ly, would recommend for any tenors that want a reed-less tone or just a warm tone overall.

Levers French Cut

Love the new French Cut reed. Perfect resistance for me. Recommend sizing up slightly in strength, 2.25 was lighter than I expected.

Thanks for the kind review!

Goodbye D’Addario HELLO LEGERE!!!

I’m so sick and tired of The inconsistency of Reeds!! How many good reeds in a box of five?? 1? 2?? And how long does that reed last? A week?? I suddenly fell in love with Legere Once I put the reed on my horn. They much more crisp and clear sound at a fraction of the effort. Much more positive audience response, And quite frankly, the horn just sounds better! From here on out, I am with Legere!!

Thank you for the thoughtful and detailed review, we appreciate your comments!
