The Legere is the softest and deepest reed I've ever used. Legere produces a variety of reeds, but the Signature is my favorite.

So far so good, I just picked up the Tenor for the first time in nearly 20 years. I been struggling with cane reeds. The perfer the French and American cuts over the Signature. Works fine, overtones and first altissimo notes playing a 105/2 Berg Lawson Buesher Aristocrat Tenor.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts with us.
I've been using Legere Signature and American Cut reeds on my tenor for about two years and I love them . But the new French Cut is so nice . The French Cut gives my slightly bright Yamaha sax a nice fat sound . I suppose "classical," is the correct adjective. This reed works well in my concert wind band . But, also, in my jazz band, the French Cut helps me come through a nice vintage Jazz sound, ala Dexter Gordon. So again, I'll say a big ,"fat," sound . This is my new favorite reed.
