After buying this reed i went to the Olympics for clarinet thank you guys so much you just made my career i make 42 million dollars per year now this 50$ made all that money
The best Legere reed so far for Bb/A clarinet. I had to go up 1/4 strength to 3.75 but really like the timber and articulation responsiveness of the French Cut. Still prefer cane reeds for soprano clarinets but this is getting very close and will be wonderful in challenging environments (dry humidity... etc )

I have been playing on Ambipoly reeds from Silverstein Works for a couple of years now, but I read about the French Cut reed from Legere -- and I like it very much! I want to spend more time alternating between the two types of reeds to see if there is a clear winner, but in my opinion, these are at the top of the heap! Thank you.

I didn’t think Legere could improve on the European cut but the French cut is perfection!! Beautiful tone and ease of control in the altissimo register make this my new reed of choice!!
Glad to hear you're enjoying the reed!
After a 30 plus year wondering in the wilderness, my return to playing clarinet was greeted with inferior and inconsistent cane reeds. I didn’t want to go back to making my own reeds, so I started trying synthetic reeds. For me the Legere French reeds produced the tonal quality, response, and articulation I used to get from my hand made reeds. Bravo.
