Born in Hokkaido, Japan. He was graduated from Aichi Prefecture University of Fine Arts and Music and finished a diploma course at Shobi Music College in Japan. He appeared in the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan new face debut recital and earned the place in the semi-final at Adolphe Sax International Competition. He has been joining Saito Kinen Festival in Matsumoto, Japan since 2012. He is an active freelance player in Tokyo area for solo music, ensembles, orchestras and having many recording sessions with Joe Hisaishi.

He is a member of Masato Kumoi Sax quartet and Ginga philharmonic orchestra.
