With my B45 mouthpiece, the tone quality is indistinguishable from my cane reeds. From past experience, I expect it to last several months. But I wish retailers (for all sorts of merchandise) would not request these reviews prior to the advertised lifetime of products!
This reed works great and does not require prep before use. Sounds great and lasts long.
Glad to hear you're enjoying the reed!
This was my 1st bass clarinet reed. Gave me easy response , full range of the horn. I normally play baritone sax
Glad to hear you're enjoying the reed!
I had tried a 'plastic' reed years ago, and had poor results. Six months ago, a bass saxophonist suggested I try the Legere reed, and I'll absolutely never go back to fussing with a cane reed again. I so appreciate not having to stick a piece of wood in my mouth now. The Legere fits under my VanDoren Optimum ligature very well. With cane, I'd start playing a concert, and halfway into the first number, my reed would stop playing. Now I have NO worries, other than dropping my Legere on the floor and wondering where it is! So pleased, I bought another two when they went on sale.

I really, really like my Signature 2.0 reed. But I moved up to a 2.25 hoping that it would improve the sharpness of my intonation. Sadly, the 2.25 turned out to be just a bit too stiff for my mouthpiece and I've gone back to the 2.0. The Classic and European versions just don't play with my mouthpiece. So, I'm glad that I'm happy with the 2.0 Signature.
