I like the Reed better than other Reed I used. It produces great sounds and every one I got meets my expectations.
I've used cane reeds and other synthetic brands. Legere European cut reeds are by far the best. I don't have to worry about them drying out or getting waterlogged after a long session and they last seemingly forever. I'm using one I've had for over a year. It has softened some but works great still.
This 3.5 European has the feel of a favorite cane reed. It's taken me a while to rely on the cane alternative, but I'm glad to be there now.
Excellent reed! I have been using this reed for over two years on my Backun clarinet with the Hawkes&Backun mouthpiece
This 2.75 reed was "the one" I had been trying to get since ~3 years ago when I ordered the same "type" of reed, but it was very stiff--maybe a 4? I was unable to exchange it due to the Covid pandemic (I tried to soften it by immersing it in hot water, but that so-of worked but no optimal). Now, if you could convince the US postal service to get their act together for speedy delivery....
