I've been using Légère signature reeds on my baryton sax for the last 5 years. I've never found any thing better.

Picked these up at the Legere Studio in Toronto. I've been playing Legere for years on alto, tenor and baritone and was looking to find a better fit on baritone. They suggested that I move up a half strength and it helped to get the sound and response I wanted.

The reed work perfectly the first time. Use it all the time now. Once I got the correct strngth.

I was very hesitant to play synthetic reeds. However the excellent projection, consistent sound is worth it! I I usually play on 3.5/4 vandoren and I baught the 3 Légère at first but the reed sounded dull. I purchased the 2.5 and it was an amazing difference. I had to adjust my tone bending and vibrato technique but it was very minor adjustments. I highly recommend having a synthetic in your reed collection.
