Principal Clarinet of the Orchestra del Teatro Comunale di Bologna and of the Filarmonica di Bologna since 2015, he cooperates regularly with Orchestra del Teatro La Fenice di Venezia, Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana, Orchestra del Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala di Milano, Filarmonica Arturo Toscanini, Orchestra del Teatro San Carlo di Napoli, Orchestra del Teatro Regio di Parma. In July 2014 he was hand picked by M° Riccardo Muti for the position of Principal Clarinet in his Orchestra Luigi Cherubini. He performed as soloist with Filarmonica A. Toscanini, Musici di Parma, Orchestra Teatro di Busseto.

He is passionate about chamber music; in duo with his brother Federico he has performed the most important pieces in the repertoire for clarinet and piano in many Festival in Italy and in Europe. In 2014 he founded Quartetto Falstaff which won the First Prize at International Flute Competition “Severino Gazzelloni” - Chamber Music. He plays also in Wind Ensemble "Nonetto" of Teatro Comunale di Bologna. He received many awards in clarinet competitions, including the International Competition Valsesia Musica (1st prize), International Competition Rino Viani 2010 (3rd prize) and 2011 (1rd prize), International Competition Audimozart (2nd prize), International Calpurnia Prize at Città di Castello Festival. He was born in Salerno, Italy in 1989. Pupil of Gaetano Russo, he graduated in clarinet at the age of 16 at the D.Cimarosa Conservatory of Avellino under Sisto Lino D’Onofrio’s guidance; he studied also with Larry Combs, Eddie Daniels, Fabrizio Meloni, Ricardo Morales and he postgraduate with top marks and distinction with Corrado Giuffredi in Modena and with Giovanni Riccucci and Bruno Canino in duo with his brother at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole.
