Po-Yuan Ku

Taiwan

Synthetic reeds have been around for decades. However, I was never fully convinced to use those on stage due to the tone quality and the response. In 2021, I was introduced to the American-cut Légère reeds by Aeolus Music and it totally changed my impression. I was immediately amazed at the vivid lovely tone, quick response, and colors. Since then, I exclusively use Légère in the practice, solo recitals, chamber music and wind ensemble concerts. As the science and the technology develop rapidly nowadays, I believe synthetic reeds will have positive and bright future. I highly recommend Légère reeds to all the students and professional artists.
