I love the fact that the reeds work right out of the box and are consistent regardless of the environment. My son is in beginning band class (saxophone of course) this year and he uses Legere as well. We both wouldn't use anything else!
Patrick holds degrees in music from Brevard College (1992) where he studied with Lloyd Weinberg and UNC-Greensboro (1994) where he studied with Craig Whittaker. He is a retired high school band and chorus director and still performs regionally.
