Unlike natural cane reeds, Legere reeds are good in that they are not affected by weather conditions and always maintain a stable tone. Resin reeds of a decade ago had a thin and rough tone, but Legere reeds are available in a variety of thicknesses, allowing players to choose the one that best suits their needs, and they are a good piece to have as a "amulet" in case of emergency.
