I have been enjoying the French Cut reeds on my clarinet, so I decided to try one on my bass. I prefer Tenor sax reeds on the bass, and the French Cut tenor sax was just as responsive as my clarinet reeds have been. Nice sound, good projection, and easy articulation. (Légère reeds are the BEST way to get through HS musical season!!)

I give them 5 stars.. but the 2.25 is too weak, could I get a 2.50 to replace it?
Glad to hear you're enjoying the reed! You can submit an exchange at www.legere.com/exchanges
I am a long-time user of Legere saxophone reeds, for both alto and tenor sax. I find that French Cut reeds work equally well on both instruments and help me perform well for the full range of these saxes. They are also durable, and justify the price premium with great performance and longevity.

The new French cut reeds are wonderful!
Glad to hear you're enjoying the reed!
I'm delighted with this reed - played well right out of the box. Consistently sounds good without needing adjustments.
Glad to hear you're enjoying the reed!
